Over the next few weeks, we thought we’d share a l Over the next few weeks, we thought we’d share a little more about the people behind the chairs here at Francesco Hair Salon. Many of our team have been with us for years, but there are probably still a few things you don’t know about them. Next up… Ellie! ✨ Ellie first joined the Francesco family over 9 years ago and over the years has become a much-loved member of the team and our family. She’s known for her bubbly personality, plenty of laughs and, of course, creating beautiful colour work. ☕ Go-to drink: An iced oat milk latte… or an ice-cold Dr Pepper Zero! 🎵 Favourite music: It depends on my mood, but my all-time favourite song is Country Roads, Take Me Home. 🏠 🌏 Dream holiday: A one-way ticket to New Zealand. 💇 Favourite service: Anything colour! ✂️ Signature style: A really good haircut. 🤍 Favourite part of the job: Having a good catch-up with my clients, many of whom have become friends. ⭐ Best thing about working at Francesco’s: The Christmas work nights out! 🍝 Favourite food: Anything pasta. 📺 Currently watching: The Traitors… and I’d love to be a contestant one day! 😂 What always makes me laugh: The moments when I’m supposed to be serious or professional! 🧳 Perfect day off: Spending it with my Nonna playing Scrabble. 💛 Three words the team would use to describe me: Scatty, charismatic… and probably a little annoying! 😂 💬 Something clients might not know about me: I used to compete nationally in ballroom and Latin dancing with Laits Dance Club… and I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant! 🤰 From the day Ellie joined us at just 20 years old, it’s been a pleasure to watch her grow both personally and professionally. We’re incredibly proud of everything she’s achieved over the years and of the valued member of the Francesco family she’s become. With her little one due very soon, we’re all looking forward to sharing this exciting new chapter with her. 💛

Next up… ✨ Maria ✨ Maria joined us as an apprentice, completed her training with us, and has developed into a very talented and fully booked stylist 💇🏼‍♀️💇🏻‍♂️ Known for her precision cutting, skin fades and warm, friendly personality, she’s built a loyal client base and become an invaluable part of our salon family. ☕ Go-to coffee: Iced latte 🎵 Favourite music: Afro beats, house & techno 🌴 Dream holiday: Japan 💇 Favourite service: Skin fades and precision cutting ⭐ What she loves about Francesco’s: Free unlimited coffee ☕️ and working with family! 🍽️ Favourite food: Portuguese seafood dishes and, of course, a pastel de nata 🇵🇹 📺 Currently watching: Dutton Ranch 🤠 💬 Something you might not know: Maria speaks Portuguese 🇵🇹 😂 Always makes her laugh: Not Giovanni’s jokes! 🏖️ Perfect day off: Gardening and a walk along the beach. It’s been a pleasure watching Maria develop into the stylist she is today. Over the years we’ve seen both her talent and confidence grow, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s achieved. She’s a hugely valued part of our Francesco family ❤️

Suffolk Remembers 💛🕯️ This evening the Felixstowe Suffolk Remembers 💛🕯️ This evening the Felixstowe Seafront Gardens were lit with the gentle glow of 5,000 candles, each one a tribute to someone loved and missed. We were honoured that both Francesco Hair Salon and Fircroft Hairdressing could support such a moving and meaningful event by sponsoring letters in the illuminated suffolk remembers display. Organised by St Elizabeth Hospice, the evening brought together our community in remembrance – with beautiful live music, heartfelt readings, and an atmosphere filled with warmth and reflection. First up…. ✨ Michelle ✨ If you’ve been coming to Francesco’s for any length of time, chances are you’ll already know Michelle. She’s been part of the salon for over 13 years and has built some fantastic relationships with clients over that time. ☕ Go-to coffee: Hazelnut cappuccino 🎵 Favourite music: Depends on the mood! 🌴 Dream holiday: Thailand 💇 Favourite service: Restyles. Michelle especially enjoys helping clients who may have lost confidence after a bad salon experience and working with them to create a plan to get their hair back on track. ⭐ What she loves about Francesco’s: The balance of being part of a family-run salon while still maintaining a professional approach to looking after our clients. 🍽️ Favourite food: Anything really… Michelle loves trying new things and it usually depends on what she’s in the mood for. 📺 Currently watching: The Rookie 💬 Something you might not know: Michelle is actually Scottish! She was born in Dumfries but moved away when she was young, so the accent disappeared long ago! 13 years, thousands of appointments, countless conversations and plenty of laughs later, Michelle is very much part of the furniture here at Francesco’s - and a much-loved part of our family too.
